About The Book

Kanzul Iman is a new modern English translation when compared to previous English translations of Kanz ul Iman. This version was initiated by Mufti Muhammad Akbar Hazarvi.

The other English Translation of Kanzul Iman is also known as “The Treasure of Faith”. It is in simple, easy-to-understand modern-day English.

Ahmad Raza Khan completed the Urdu translation of Kanzul Iman in 1910. It is well known and Accepted in India/ Pakistan especially amongst those from the Hanafi Sunni Barelvi tradition.

About Ahmad Raza Khan

Imam Ahmed Raza Khan was born in 1858 at Barielly in India. He is known as “Ala Hazrat” in general and Imam Ahle Sunnat among The Barelvis. He was a great jurist and a learned scholar of Islam He is considered to be the most learned and authentic authority on Quran, Sunnah, and jurisprudence by majority Muslims of this sub-continent.

He was a great writer and wrote about one thousand small and big books relating to various aspects of Islam.

He was a traditionist and a follower of the jurisprudence of Imam-e-Azam Abu Hanifa Rahmatullah Alaih, and also a great mystic and a staunch lover of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Rahimahullah.
